If you have a group of 6*, you could all choose different activities for the week, while still enjoying all of your meals – and some activities – together. You are also welcome to sign up as a solo traveler – and we are thrilled to inform you that we don’t charge a single supplement for our retreats, although… (*6 is the minimum number required to organize this – but if you give us enough warning, we may be able to add some people on for you).

Hello EarthTrekkers!

I’m writing to extend an invitation down to my second home in Mindo. My humble little retreat centre in Mindo, Ecuador, is set in a natural paradise alongside a rushing river high up in the Andes where the temperature is perfect all year round (22-24C). Mindo is one of the world’s top birding destinations — a “megadiverse” zone that is also on the map for its amazing butterflies, orchids, chocolate, waterfalls, and adrenaline sports. The safe little off-the-beaten-path village has so much to offer visitors (especially nature lovers), and yet is only two hours from Ecuador’s beautiful capital, Quito.

From the moment we pick you up at the airport to the moment we drop you off again, every detail will be taken care of for you. All meals will be privately catered on site by my dear friend, Chef Tim. The various activities will be arranged around your timeline and energy level. And the rest you can simply leave up to me and my wonderful team down in Mindo to handle.
