*includes: all taxes; return international airfare (Toronto-Florence-Toronto); private transportation for daily outings to historic towns and cities in the area (Siena, San Gimignano, Cambiano, and Castelfiorentino); guided trip through Florence; day trip to the Tuscan Coast at Viareggio; all breakfasts and lunches and other meals at the Villa, including a private gourmet Italian cooking class; all yoga and other retreat activities.

Day 1 (Friday): Your flight leaves Toronto’s Pearson International Airport at 20:05 (8:05 pm). Due to the difference in time, it will appear to be a longer travel day than it actually is. Flying time is just over eight hours, followed by a one-hour stop in Munich, Germany, before flying to Italy (bringing us to Day 2 – see below).
Day 2 (Saturday): We will be met at the airport in Florence in the early afternoon and transported to our beautiful villa on the outskirts of the village of Cambiano in the Tuscan countryside. There will be time to relax and opportunity to take in the villa’s lovely surroundings and many amenities for the more energetic. Later this afternoon, we will spend some time as a group reviewing all of the wonderful cultural, spiritual, and educational activities our week together has in store. This evening, we will enjoy a delicious gourmet Italian meal together at the villa, as we get to know one another and enjoy a glass of wine to celebrate the week ahead. (D).
Day 3 (Sunday): The day begins with yoga and meditation, followed by breakfast at the villa and an inner exploration session. Lunch will be served at the villa before continuing on with private time to process the day’s teachings or explore our villa’s surroundings, as you wish. Later in the day we will take a short (20 minute) walking meditation into Cambiano, the closest village to the villa, to enjoy a delicious dinner out at an elegant restaurant and a leisurely return to the Villa (B, L).
Day 4 (Monday): We begin our day with our morning yoga practice followed by a leisurely breakfast. We will then get ready to explore the beautiful Tuscan Riviera at Viareggio, a beautiful little city on the Tuscan coast that takes a little over an hour to get to. Down at the seafront, la Passeggiata offers all kinds of shops and restaurants. Enjoy a swim in the sea, or take in a delicious meal at any of the excellent restaurants. We recommend la Trattoria Fronte Del Porto, offering a magnificent combination of seafood and pasta. After lunch, you can enjoy a walk to L’attesa and watch a romantic sunset. After a decadent day on the beach, you might want to buy a refreshing ice cream – one of the many things Italy is famous for! Before going back to the Villa enjoy a relaxed dinner at a restaurant of your choosing (B).
Day 5 (Tuesday): Today following our morning yoga practice, and breakfast we will continue the exploration of our inner selves. Early in the afternoon, following lunch, we will visit another magical town of, San Gimignano, which is only 30 km away and offers many things to see and do. Just walking around the historic centre, this magical place will transport you to ancient times. We will return in time to learn a little Italian cooking, in a private culinary class together at the Villa, and then enjoy the fruits of our labour. Following dinner we will enjoy an Evening Under the Stars at the villa (B, D).
Day 6 (Wednesday): This morning, following our daily yoga practice (a little earlier than other days) and breakfast at the villa, we will head off to take in the beautiful sites of Florence. Our guided tour through the city will include a visit to the city’s most famous Galleria dell’ Accademia or Gallery of the Academy, best known for being the home of Michelangelo’s famous sculpture, David. Florence was the capital of the Italian Renaissance and has many cultural and artistic treasures to offer. You will also have several hours to explore this gorgeous city on your own, to allow you to see and do what is best for you. Options are endless, but we recommend a visit to il Palazzo Pitti, the Basilica di Santa Croce, and la Piazza del Duomo, to mention a few. Everyone will be free to enjoy lunches and dinners at their own pace. Our transfer back to the villa will leave mid-evening after enjoying a wonderful day in Florence (B).
Day 7 (Thursday): Our morning yoga practice will be followed by breakfast and a wrap-up to our inner mastery sessions. Later this afternoon, following lunch at the villa, we head to the town of Castelfiorentino to visit Castello di Oliveto, a medieval castle, and then later on, to enjoy dinner out, returning to the villa for another night under the stars and dancing. Day 8 (Friday): Our “day of joy” will begin with our morning yoga practice followed by breakfast and a celebration of our authentic selves (that is, more joy). Later in the morning, around 10:30 a.m., we will head to the gorgeous city of Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is famous for its cuisine, art, museums, and medieval cityscapes. You will have time to wander the historic streets and take the day wherever you want. We will have many recommendations to help you make the most of your time here This is our last night together, so we will make it back to the villa in time to share a special dinner, taste different local wines around the fire, enjoy music and share all of the wonderful experiences our week together has offered (B, D).
Day 9 (Saturday): After an early parting breakfast together, it’s time to say arrivederci to Italy – see you again. We will head to the airport at 8:00 am to catch our flight, leaving Florence at 1:10 in the afternoon. We will arrive in Toronto at 6:30 pm local time, full of renewed energy, grounding, focus, and drive to last us until our next time together (B).
